Last summer I bought a full-fledged Thule Rack for my 2001 Toyota Corolla. In it, I bought:
- 369 Specialty Foot Pack - these are the "feet" that hook to the car and affix the rack
- LB50 Load Bars - these are the cross bars that you either affix different items to OR you strap things directly to
- 544 Lock Cylinders (4 pk) - locks the rack to your car to allow you to leave it in place without fear of it being stolen
- 872XT Fairing (Large) - makes the car/roof rack more aerodynamic
This past winter, I traded in the car and no longer need the roof rack. As they say, 'My loss is your gain.'
(Other than straps) - this is everything that you need to be able to securely affix random objects (kayak, bikes, lumber, beds, lamp posts, small trees, furniture, the entire "electrical department" at Home Depot) to your roof. For my kayak, I purchased a Hull-a-port Pro pair and carry the boat on its side. Pretty swanky, but I've carried it without.
The roof rack was lightly used during the 2008 season and has collected dust over the winter. I can take pictures of anything. I prefer to NOT break up the set - who needs feet without load bars?
I'm looking to get $225 for the setup. This all retails (ref: Thule.com) for about $350. If interested, please email me and provide a contact telephone number in your response. Cash or PayPal only (if PayPal, there will be a 3% fee to cover transaction fee costs). Due to the size of the loadbars and fairing, I'd prefer to deal locally. Inspection and pick up of the item can occur in Columbia, MD (21044) or New Carrollton, MD (20785) or York, PA (17406).
Update, May 11, 2009 - this has been sold to a nice fellow. I ended up shipping it to him using UPS and a DIY-made box.
