It's a gadget that has the shapes of 14 different "things" that you would need to tie a knot onto (line cleat, neck of bag, tent stake tab, etc.). In the book are instructions for tying 17 different knots.
- Clove Hitch
- Constrictor Knot
- Taut Line Hitch
- Lusk Knot
- Bowline
- Anchor Bend
- Rolling Hitch
- Two Half Hitches (approximate)
- Figure Eight Loop
- Threaded Overhand Knot
- Stopper Knot
- Figure Eight Knot
- Threaded Figure Eight
- Belaying
- Cat's Paw Hitch
- Marlinespike Hitch
- Snelling a Hook
So far, I've been successfully in each of the knots that I've tried (Clove Hitch & Constrictor Knot). All in all, I like it. It is lightweight, simple and was inexpensive.
