I can Tie a Tie, but Not a Knot

The knots that I can make - ties, shoes and bodacious air knots whilst fishing. But, any knowledge of actually making knots intentionally and having them be worth a darn eludes me. My wife bought me a very cool little tool called the Fourteener Knotting Tool.

It's a gadget that has the shapes of 14 different "things" that you would need to tie a knot onto (line cleat, neck of bag, tent stake tab, etc.). In the book are instructions for tying 17 different knots.

So far, I've been successfully in each of the knots that I've tried (Clove Hitch & Constrictor Knot). All in all, I like it. It is lightweight, simple and was inexpensive.
